She knew her baby was coming.

She danced in joy and grace; She started flaunting.

She showered all the love and care she could give to her baby.

Dreams of the baby filled her nights

Already hugging it in her arms tight

Needless to say, she was happily waiting for it's arrival.

Sonography after 3 months but,

Choice is a boy, said her husband.

Result of this sex determination,

There were twins - a boy and a girl.

Girl ends up as foetus, the

Boy ends up as a man.

Before she sees the world around,

Buried alive, kicking and screaming, in the ground. Before she has taken her very first step. Before she could breathe her very first breath.

The man she could call 'father'

shows her the knife and deprive her of life.

There was nothing she couldn't do;

There was nothing she couldn't achieve.

Her brother was fed milk and cream, but

She tasted them daily, in her dreams.
